Lucy Cuentas, the Parish Social Worker, continues to maintain contact with the local medical centres of Motupe and Montenegro, facilitating ongoing contact between them and the Children's Kitchens. Medical staff continually monitor the health, hygiene and growth rate of the children, ensuring that the standard of nutrition provided through the Kitchens is adequate.
Dr. Jorge, who has long assisted the work of the Kitchens, checks children in one of the poorest areas of the Parish, Nuevo Amanecer (New Dawning).
